Management Training
The SSA Managers Certification Course is a standardized course addressing core competencies in self storage management for managers and new owner/managers, supervisors and owners who desire formal training in self storage facility management. The course is offered in four separate modules focusing on the following: operations, human relations and sales, financial management and legal issues. The course modules are offered throughout the country at various state self storage association program venues in addition to SSA program venues. Course modules can be completed in any order and at any location. Those completing all four modules of the course are eligible to sit for the course examination. Those passing the exam receive a certificate for successful completion of the course and are eligible candidates for the Certified Self Storage Manager professional designation.
